Who the apartment suits

Eighty two square metres are furnished for two guests, which gives a couple more room per person than anywhere else we let. It is an address for a pair who want Dubai on the doorstep, and equally for a business traveller who values not having to commute into the centre at all.

Inside the apartment

The apartment has high ceilings, a separate living room and a dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, cookware, wine glasses and cooking basics. The living room has a smart TV with Netflix and Wi-Fi above 250 Mbps, the bedroom has blackout blinds, and the apartment holds a safe, a washing machine, a drying rack, an iron with a board and spare blankets.

The bathroom is stocked with towels, linens and toiletries. Bottled water, tea and coffee for the machine are waiting as a welcome.

Damac Maison Mall Street building facilities

The pool with sun loungers and the gym are reserved for residents of the building. Parking is in the garage or on the street, and our team is reachable at any hour, whether for extra cleaning or for booking a trip.

Downtown is the centre of Dubai and this address sits in its core. Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall and the fountain shows are a walk away, as are Dubai Opera and Souk Al Bahar. The Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall metro station connects straight into the mall, so the coast and the airport are both reachable without a car. Airport, old Dubai and trips

Being close to the airport matters more than it sounds: twenty minutes from Downtown to DXB means you can land and go straight to dinner. Old Dubai, with its souks and abra crossings, is nearer from here than from any other address we let, so it does not need a whole day set aside. A desert safari or a day in Abu Dhabi can be booked through us.

House rules

Arrival is possible from 3 pm and departure by 11 am, smoking indoors is not allowed and pets cannot stay. Building management needs passport copies two days before arrival.
