Who the apartment suits

Two bedrooms and a generous living area make this the largest holiday rental in our portfolio, in Dubai and beyond. It fits a family with children, two couples travelling together, or a group of friends. A sixth guest can be added by arrangement.

Inside the apartment

The interior is bright, with high ceilings, tall windows, marble floors and modern furniture set off by art pieces. The kitchen is fully equipped: stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, freezer, cookware, wine glasses and cooking basics, so dinner on the first evening is realistic. Meals happen at the large table. Inside there is air conditioning, a TV with Netflix, a safe, a washing machine, a drying rack and a laptop friendly workspace.

The bathroom is stocked with hotel linens, towels and toiletries, and cleaning is done to a hotel standard. The balcony has outdoor furniture and a hammock, and there is an outdoor grill among the shared facilities.

Yakout building facilities

Yakout has its own swimming pool, a kids pool, a gym and a lift. Parking is in the garage or on the street. A Zoom grocery store sits inside the compound, so the basic shop needs no drive at all.

Al Marjan Island is a man made peninsula in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, ringed by water and lined with resorts including Rixos Bab Al Bahar and Waldorf Astoria, whose restaurants welcome outside guests. Al Hamra, with its marina, golf course and shopping mall, lies a short drive away. Dubai is an hour off, which makes this address a base for a holiday by the sea rather than for city sightseeing.

What to do from Al Marjan Island

Ras Al Khaimah runs its own programme: the drive up Jebel Jais to the world's longest zipline, a boat trip around the marina, golf at Al Hamra, or simply a full day on the sand. Anyone who also wants to see Dubai should set aside a whole day and leave early. Desert and Abu Dhabi excursions can be arranged from here as well.

House rules

Arrival from 3 pm, departure by 11 am, no smoking indoors and no pets. We need passport copies for all guests one day before arrival so building access can be issued.
